Masala tea

This drink will warm and invigorate.

First, prepare a mixture of spices.

Garam Masala
4 tbsp. l coriander seed
2 tbsp. l Indian caraway seeds
2 tbsp. l black pepper peas
2 tsp cardamom seed
2 tsp carnations
2 cinnamon sticks 5 cm long

Fry each spice individually in a dry cast-iron frying pan, stirring occasionally until the spice darkens a little and begins to emit a characteristic odor. As a rule, this procedure takes about 15 minutes. When all the spices are ready, mix them and grind in an electric grinder. Place the finished masala in a glass jar with a tight lid and store in a cool place. Garam-masala, made from high-quality spices and stored in an airtight container, retains its taste and aroma for several months and is useful for many dishes.

Add a pinch of garam masala to a teapot with tea leaves and brew a mixture of boiling water and hot milk in a one to one ratio. Masala tea is necessarily drunk with sugar. This is an indispensable drink for colds and fatigue, moreover, it is delicious!
