Millet porridge with pumpkin (pumpkin)


1 cup millet
0.5 kg of pumpkin
3 cups milk
1/2 tsp salt
butter to taste

Millet rinse several times, first with warm, and the last time with hot water, otherwise the cereal may be bitter.

Peel the pumpkin and seeds, cut into small cubes, put in hot milk, salt and bring to a boil. Then pour in millet and cook at a low boil for 30-40 minutes. Close the thickened porridge tightly with a lid, put in the oven for heating. For the same purpose, dishes with porridge can be wrapped with thick paper or cloth and covered with a pillow on top.

Serve porridge with butter.
