Pumpkin Gnocchi

Gnocchi is an Italian dumpling that can be served with different sauces.
750 g peeled pumpkin seeds and peels
125 g flour
40 g grated cheddar cheese
8 tsp ground nutmeg
Salt
Cut the pumpkin into pieces and boil in a pan or in a small amount of water for 15 minutes, cover with a lid until soft. Put the pumpkin in a colander and squeeze out all the liquid. Transfer the pumpkin into a bowl and mash. Add all remaining ingredients, season and mix. Cover and refrigerate for at least 20 minutes. Hands in flour to form small, not more than 2 cm in diameter, balls. Lay them at a great distance on a floured surface.
Bring a large pot of water to a boil and add dumplings. Cook for 3-5 minutes or until the dumplings rise to the surface. Get them with a slotted spoon and immediately serve in a heated plate with sour cream or sauce of your choice.
